HKU Faculty of Law receives 144,000 masks from the China-Europe Law Foundation (CELF)

The Faculty of Law (the Faculty) of the University of Hong Kong has received a donation of 144,000 surgical masks from China-Europe Law Foundation (the Foundation). The Faculty appreciates the Foundation's generosity and support.

As agreed by the Foundation, a portion is reserved to law students and to the University as support for redistribution to front-line staff. The remaining, around 100,000 masks, will be channeled to the underpriviledged groups in Hong Kong through the HK Council of Social Services and the Society of Community Organization; and to the hospital staff of Queen Mary Hospital as a gesture of support and appreciation on their bravery to fight against the Coronavirus.
